Dr. Xiepu YANG is Associate Professor at the Institute of European Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). Her major fields of research include European integration, European Social Policies, and Welfare State System. Her most important publications are The Social Welfare in Germany (2001), Transformation of the Roles of Social Partners through EU Governance, (2007), and Recalibrating German Welfare State (2008).
