Foreign Affairs Journal Publishes A Special Issue on the

Forum on China-EU Strategic Partnership

A Forum on China-EU (European Union) Strategic Partnership, hosted by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and co-organized by IES and other academic institutions, opened on November 19 in Beijing.  There are many important people attending this gathering.  Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang gave a speech at the forum.

Foreign Affairs Journal, a quarterly English publication of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), has devoted its November 2009 issue to this forum.  It publishes all the major speeches and presentations delivered at the forum.

CPIFA (http://www.cpifa.org/en/) was founded in December 1949 on the initiative of the late Premier Zhou Enlai, the first of its kind devoted to people-to-people diplomacy after the founding of New China. The current President is Yang Wenchang (beginning from March 2006).
