The 4th Annual Conference of Chinese Society of European Law

The 4th annual conference of Chinese Society of European Law (CSEL) was held at the Shanghai International Studies University during October 23-24, 2010, on the theme of the Lisbon Treaty and the Development of European Union Law.

More than 40 scholars and experts from different universities and institutions attended the conference.

CSEL used this occasion to elect Zeng Lingliang as President of its standing committee, and  Cheng Weidong as Vice President. Cheng Weidong is Head of the Division of the EU Laws at the Institute of European Studies, CASS.

CSEL is under the umbrella of the Chinese Association for European Studies, which is a national association of European studies in China.
