Polish ambassador to China Visited the IES

On the afternoon of June 21, 2021,Mr.Wojciech Zajaczkowski, Polish ambassador to China, Mr.Sebastian Domżalski, Counsellor of China Embassy, Mr.Tomasz Jurczyk, Assistant of Ambassador, visited the Institute of European Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Feng Zhongping, Director of the IES, received the ambassador, Liu Zuokui, Deputy Director of the IES and the relevant researchers of Division of Central and Eastern Europe Studies attended the meeting.  

  

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on international hotspot issues of common concern, such as G-7 Summit, US-Russia Summit, and conducted in-depth exchanges on current China-EU relations and China - CEEC cooperation and other topics. Both sides agreed that although there are differences in certain areas of China - EU relations, the overall prospects of cooperation are still optimistic. Both China and Poland are willing to continuously deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields, promoting the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries to a deeper level and broader fieldsit will further help China - EU cooperation and China - CEEC cooperation to deepen.
