As one of the results of the 10-year cooperation program between the Institute of European Studies (IES) of CASS and the Journal Review of Economic Conditions in Italy of the Italian UniCredit Group, the Chinese edition of Cities: the Sites of Globalized Network (La Citta’ Come Sito Della Globalizzazione), edited by Prof. Luo Hongbo, was published in October 2010 by the Social Sciences Academic Press (China).

The subjects discussed in this book are not only of common interest to both the IES and to the Journal but of great significance to both China and Italy. Urbanization and construction of globalized cities bear enormous strategic significance to the comprehensively harmonious development and the enhancement of international status and influences of any one state.
